Bucharest Experience - SummerWell Music Festival 2014

After spending a wonderful week in Brasov, my friends and I found a way to get to Bucharest, where the awesome music festival SummerWell was about to begin.
But before, we couldn't miss the chance to treasure the only theme park in Bucharest.
So this was our first stop: Terra Park.

After a lot of adrenaline we headed to the hotel, where we were about to spend our next days. But first: meal break. Creating our sandwiches at Subway was definitely the right way to spend time after the awesome rides at the theme park.

We enjoyed our delicious sandwiches on our way to this luxurious hotel at which we spent two wonderful days.Trying not to scream, all the three of us ran to our huge hotel room, which obviously was a total mess after 2 hours. Choosing the direction "pool", we were amazed by the luxury that surrounded us and without thinking about anything else to do, we jumped right in it. Getting there was easy, believing out eyes what we were seeing was hard, leaving the pool was almost impossible. (You can see what we did in the video at the end of the post.)

After that, we finally got to Summer Well, which was also the reason why we were staying for two days in Bucharest. From the moment that I got in the domain where this music festival was taking place, I fell in love with the atmosphere around there. Really. It was loud music and happy people all around. I was finally seeing different faces from the ones in my city. Everything was so much better than I have imagined it.

Nothing could stop us from having fun now. I got everything that I needed: my friends, good music and a positive atmosphere around us.

So that we can't get lost in this huuuge place

We were really happy to see that no one was judging one another and so on. Maybe I'm being absurd, but it's the first festival I ever attended to and I am pretty impressed about it.

For me, the first day of SummerWell was the best one. As the sun went down, music got better and better. The Prides and Chlöe Howl were the ones who started the show and trust me, it was breathtaking. After that, The 1975 kept the atmosphere alive. As the sun went down, John Newman started the real show and Bastille didn't hesitate to make the crowd fall in love with their music, their show and their attitude.

The second day, Reptile Youth, Miles Kane, Tom Odell, The National and Placebo entertained the crowd. But for us, the second day was more like a "treasure hunt" day. We went all around the place, observing everything from the distance. We went to an open-air cinema, we got temporary tattoos, we took some shots and we did not forget to listen to the music that was playing on the stage.

If you're into this experience, check out more details in this video that I've been working on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga8M4F1TU0I and if you liked it, don't hesitate to give it a thumb up and subscribe to my channel!

Thanks for reading and I guess I'll "see" you next time with more experiences to talk about. Byeee! xx

Brasov: Probably the best city in the world

Last week was the kind-of-the-fun-week of my holiday. I decided with two of my best friends to go on a road trip to Brasov, a lively city in Romania, which is one of my favorite cities too! But...our road trip ended up to be a railway trip, hahaha! So on a torrid monday afternoon, we left our city with the destination Brasov. The following images (and the video that you'll find at the end of the post) are the consequences of the slow, crawling trains in Romania.

It was a long trip all way down to Brasov, but time passes by really fast when you're with your friends. I was so happy arriving to my second home, seeing my relatives again.

Just my uncle being himself
Oh Grandpa, how I've missed you...

          First Day: Pool Day

There was this awesome Aqua Park in Brasov with lots of pools, a couple of slides and some trampolines, where we had a lot of fun (only a photo, because we were really active that day, hahaha! But you'll see more of what we did in the movie at the bottom of the page).

The next days we just walked around the city, admiring the sculptures that surrounded us, having the time of our life. Just us walking on the empty, lonely, century old streets and buildings that didn't fall apart, despite the rough ages.

Ordinary pictures aren't for us

The next day, we continued our journey to the "Brasov" landmark ( you can see it in the picture above) and we took some great snaps from the top of the world, that's how I like to call it.

More, we spent a couple of hours in a huge adventure park. If you'd like to discover more of our adventures in this beautiful city, watch the movie below.

Thank you for wasting your precious life, finding out more about mine, haha! Until next time! Maybe I'll manage to find a more interesting subject to write about ( Summer Well).
          Stay tuned!

The Skateboard Generation

In Summer 2013, I started seeing tons of teens riding skateboards. I began to get interested in this field and to search more types of skateboards, to see which one is better from all points of view. So after many days of researches, I came across the Penny Skateboards and i fell in love immediately. Looking at all the colors, all the shapes and the combinations they had...I just couldn't get enough of them.
I started looking for opportunities to get a Penny board from my parents, so when the spring began, I kept begging them to buy me one, because it will be useful in many cases.  So they couldn't take it anymore and they bought me an early-easter-present: yep, it was the Penny Pastel Fade 22'' that I was dreaming about.

Penny boards are not even by far the best skateboards, but they are really useful. Pennies are little, light and really easy to take them with you wherever you go. You can put them in your backpack or even hold them in your hand, why not?

Penny boards are more for "cruising around", but you can also do tricks with it, like the Ollie, Boneless, Kickflip, etc. You can watch them really fast here.

Once i stepped onto the penny, nothing could stop me from cruising all around the city. Well...except for the bad sidewalks in our city, damn it!

I bet you all did hear about the Penny boards, but did you hear their story? It's really touching. Take a look at Ben Mackay's story! You won't regret it.

If you have to travel long distances through the city and you would like to get a board, I encourage you to buy the penny board as soon as possible. You'll fall in love, I swear to you! More, it's really easy to learn to ride it. It took 2 days for me to learn to ride it quite good. I'm about to start learning a part of the tricks, so keep your fingers crossed for me, hahaha.
