Christmas Gift Guide

Is it December already? I just can't believe my eyes that today I opened the 6th pocket of my Advent Calendar! The most wonderful time of the year is here and we all must take more time to make our closes friends and the members of the family happier by sharing more acts of kindness.
And as the Christmas Eve surprises us with its presence, a little gift for the special people that surround you would sound great, wouldn't it?
Well, this post is for the people who are out of ideas for their Christmas gifts.

There are two kinds of people: the ones who really wish for something and the ones who have everything and they just want to be surprised for Christmas. I'm going to guide you all the way, util you'll find the perfect Christmas gift.

The ones who wish for something

If you know what they really want, at least 2-3 things on their wish list, your job gets a lot easier.
Think if they need something. Try to remember the last times you went with your friends at the mall. Was one of them really into something and now he/she is craving for it? Anything. Books, sweets, decorations, clothes, accessories. If so, that would be for sure the perfect Christmas gift for your buddy!
Is it too expensive? No problem. Buy it together with your friends!

For the ones who have everything

We all have that friend who's answer to the question "What do YOU want for Christmas?" is always "Nothing" or "I don't know".
If they don't ask for anything, don't buy them anything!
Alriiiight! I was kidding, of course! If they say that they've got everything, try to make them realise that they don't! Come up with original ideas that will bring a smile on their face. Don't buy expensive gifts. It's not about the money anymore. Buy something that means something for the both of you, something that will remind them of you. It's Christmas, it's all about getting into the spirit. Think of doing something yourself! Look for handmade gifts ideas and try to nail them. Cook something that they like and show up at their house without an invitation. That will surprise them for sure!

If you still haven't got any ideas, check out these sites: SheInsideChoices, ShopJeenBoohooExclusives and Diva-Charms. These are basically the sites which I check out every week. They ship worldwide, they've got great prices and original gift ideas. You won't regret choosing them. The only disadvantage they have is that the shipping to Romania takes a lot of time. But if you order it these days, it will arrive just in time for a spectacular Christmas present.
Good luck, beauties! Until next time!x

Frozen Thoughts

"You're always haunted by the idea you're wasting your life", that's what Chuck Palahniuk definitely guessed about my everyday life.

I bet you all have though about this thing at least once, didn't you? Standing in front of the computer, scrolling down your smartphone, looking for anything to do but learning or just staring at the walls, wandering, asking yourself what are you doing with your life.
Come on! I can't be the only one doing this!
Anyways, I can say that lately, my mind was a huge mess! I had no idea what was happening with my life, because every single thing was passing by in a huge rush.
Can't say that I had a bad episode in my life, that would be an enormous lie. Actually, things stated getting better every day: the relationships between my family, friends and I; the effort that I was making for school started to show up, therefore my grades, together with my confidence grew up. Also, my extra activities are beginning to take shape: I find more and more interesting things to do. Why? You know why? It's because of me. Because I've always wanted to be better, to do better. And so I did! I raised my standards above my level and I slowly started to crawl up to them. Let me introduce you to my world, let me present you the first step I took.

I started to take a look around me. What did I see? It was a huge mess, I couldn't understand what the people around me were saying. I felt like I was going crazy. But slowly, I realised that everything that surrounds me, has got its beauty. And I'm not saying this just for you to think that I'm a positive person. (Actually, I'm a pessimist and I'm trying to change that.)

But...really, every single detail has got its beauty, but no everyone can see it. If you look closely, you'll notice that you're blessed with so many good things and in so many beautiful ways.
If you do not notice, take this into account:
Everything that surrounds you is based on your attitude. If you think negatively, you'll attract negativity. Therefore, there will be a lot of bad things happening in your life. If you love the people and the atmosphere around you, you'll definitely attract love, respect and bliss.
But, there's a thing you must take into account: You can't have a life full of happiness if you're surrounded by idiots. People are mean and they either want to kiss you, kill you or be you. So make sure that you are in the right group of people, make sure that they won't have a bad impact upon you, make sure that they make you happy.

The second step I took, was to stop judging other people.

There was a time when I used to judge people a lot and to laugh at them. I regret that so much, that you can't even imagine. So if you do bully someone or laugh about them, stop right now! NOW is the right time to stop and think! Think that they have a heart too and think how broken it is. Maybe they don't dress as good as you, because of the lack of money. They're not as beautiful as you, because that's how God wanted them to be. Just because He was more generous with you, doesn't give you the right to laugh at them. They're don't behave and they don't think like you, they're not as smart as you, because of the environment they lived in. Stop judging each other and more, stop thinking that he or she or them could change the world. You know who can change the world? Well, take a look in the mirror! Be the change in this world and stand up for your own rights and happiness.

Plaid Wool "Blanket" For Late Autumn Days

As the summer slowly turned into autumn, the laughs into sighs, the nature started to fade, I personally started thinking about the perfect autumn outfit. And, tell me, dear readers! What's a cold-day-outfit without a muffler? How would you feel without something taking care of your fragile neck on a cold, bleak day? Well, frozen, that's how you'd feel.
But wait, how would the perfect scarf for autumn look? Bright colours? Nah, I'll go for the darker ones. Black? Something lighter, though. Brown could be nice, but how about grey? Too gloomy. I just couldn't find the proper colours for such an important accessory, so I started treating this subject with more preoccupation:   Hunter green would be nice, but also the fire red combined with a navy blue would match marvellous aaand we shouldn't forget about the black and white, which complete each other perfectly. All these colours combined, together with a bit of effort put into finding it, brought this beauty into my hands.

If you thought I would start talking in this post about a blanket, well...you were wrong. I just love to give this scarf more attributions. I like to use it as it is, but I also love to have it wrapped around me like a blanket.
This is my lovely plaid wool muffle, which i bough from New Look and I matched it with some pretty thin clothes, because the weather allowed me to.

A white shirt, with a pair of dark blue ripped&teared jeans, a pair of black boots, together with a black leather jacket are the essentials of this outfit. I suited these with some funky accessories.

After finishing with finding the right clothes, we started the photo-shoot. If the photos below can't express enough feelings, the video for sure will. Autumn Wardrobe: Rosegold Details

Remarking that the time is running with huge steps from us, one of my dear friends and I thought we'd do something that will remind people of a couple of good/funny things about us. So, I finally took my time to spend a quality day with my gurl and this is what we ended up doing:
Firstly, we finally managed to do one of our old projects, more precisely the WHISPER CHALLENGE. We had so much fun filming it, oh my God! I bet you can see that in the video, teehee! (Sorry for my uncontrollable laugh)
Secondly, we thought that presenting one of my detailed autumn outfits wouldn't be a bad idea, so we jumped right into it.

I chose a really simple outfit: a baby pink sweater, black pants, a black leather jacket and black boots, worn with rose-gold accessories and styled with a messy hair bun.

This is pretty much how the upper part of the outfit looks like: Only sweater, accessorised with a H&M necklace and a set of Pimkie bracelets

I first wanted to wear those bracelets, but after a couple of minutes I realized that I would rather go for this stunning rose gold watch. And I did't regret a thing, this watch gave a touch elegance to my simple outfit.

HEEERE'S MY MESSY HAIR-BUN, teehee

As you can see, I spend a lot of time on instagram, so go check out my profile for more infos about my daily routine, wish lists and my upcoming projects
Thank you for reading, I hoped this post gave you an idea of a simple autumn outfit, girls! If you'd like to keep in touch with me or give me any recommendations for my next post, here're the like for my social medias: InstagramFacebookTumblrAsk.fm. Until next time!xx

Busy as a bee

Hey guys! I've been trying to keep up with you, with the routine and atmosphere that surrounds me, but it was just too much. Don't think of anything bad, it's quite the contrary.
In the last couple of weeks, a lot has been going through my mind, my head and my heart. I tried to help and coordinate with my mates in order to run a wonderful prom for the freshman and I think we did a pretty good job.
Moreover, I started a dancing collaboration and I tried to get as prepared as I could for my first performance as a back-up dancer.
One more thing I am taking into account every day is my blog. I am thinking of opening my blog on a better and higher qualified site. I'm working on it every time when I find the opportunity and the time to.
Besides my hobbies, guess what? I'm about to...well, redecorating is too minimalist. I'm am totally changing my room! Starting with the style, keeping an eye on every single detail around. So, I'm pretty busy every afternoon, putting  everything into boxes and suiting them one-by-one.
Of course, we can't forget about the school, which is so entertaining, joyful and pleasant. (I speak fluent sarcasm, btw) We all have that problem, I know, so I won't include this on my "weep list".
Even though I'll get involved in more and more activities from now on, I will try to take my time to write down my new ideas at least once a week on my blog. Promise! And as soon as I achieve my goal (opening my new blog) you'll be the first ones to find out about!

    Until next timeee!x

DIY Room Decor: Nail String Art

DIY Room Decor: Nail String Art

I was really busy this weekend, haha! No, I didn't do my homework. At all. Whoops. My best friend was redecorating her room and she really wanted to create a diy painting/decoration. I mean...who wouldn't love to have such a wonderful work of art hanging on their wall for the next few years? I bet you all would! Check out my video for some tricks before starting: http://youtu.be/8yr88J2IYiM

Thinking that you'll get into the idea of me making DIY posts, I decided to start with this tutorial. There's going to be also a step-by-step video a bit later.
There's no time to waste, let's get started!

It' easy! All you need is:
  • a piece of wooden board
  • a couple of strings (you're choosing the style, so let your imagination spread and find the right colours for your creation)
  • nails
  • a hammer
  • white spray
  • a pencil and a ruler

Step 1: Draw

As your ideas invade your mind, let your hand go with the flow. Be inventive! Try something new, do whatever you want to! It's your idea, your style, your signature! My girl, well, she wanted something to remind her of dreaming. She always kept telling me that this work of art will remind her of the quote "If you can dream it, you can do it." So this is what we chose, the word dreaming. But you can choose any other word or shape.
Start by having a model of the shape you want to draw in front of your eyes. It's not necessarily, but I'm not good at drawing, so I really had to look at a model while trying to show off my draw skills.
Slowly, start to draw the margins of the word, don't hurry. You've got time!

This is Jazz! She was or little help, our secret ingredient for
making things easier

2. Start Outlining Your Word

It's your turn to see what it feels like to work like a carpenter, hahaha! Simply start by inserting the nails in the board with your hammer. They should push in fairly easily with a little pressure (except when you hit a knot in the wooden board...Try to avoid them as much as you can, I'm telling you this from my own experience! If a nail in pushed into a knot, it won't remain inside for too long. When the situation will begin to turn pink (4. Step), your nails will fall and you'll get soooo damn angry, that you won't be able to continue. This is your warning, guys! Avoid the dark knots in the wood!)

3. Paint your Board

Start spreading your spray all over the board from about 25 cm distance.

4. String your Canvas

 Now the fun part: stringing.
Start doing roundabouts around the nails again and again. Reminder: be patient and don't rush!
P.S. We had a pretty thin strings and we had to do too many roundabouts around the nails, so we decided to make our work two times easier, in which we doubled the strings (we put two strings next to each other and started doing roundabouts with both, acting like we have a single string). This will help you, if your strings are also thin.

You can start with doing a knot on a nail, so that you'll
make sure that you strings will remain intact

AAAAAAND THIS IS THE RESULT
What do you think about it? The time I wasted on this work of art wasn't wasted, right?

Don't hesitate doing this at home, it isn't dangerous, even if you're working with a hammer and nails, it's cheap and you'll be very satisfied of what you did all by yourself.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I guess we'll keep in touch on Instagram
Don't miss Take care!xx
