Busy as a bee

Hey guys! I've been trying to keep up with you, with the routine and atmosphere that surrounds me, but it was just too much. Don't think of anything bad, it's quite the contrary.
In the last couple of weeks, a lot has been going through my mind, my head and my heart. I tried to help and coordinate with my mates in order to run a wonderful prom for the freshman and I think we did a pretty good job.
Moreover, I started a dancing collaboration and I tried to get as prepared as I could for my first performance as a back-up dancer.
One more thing I am taking into account every day is my blog. I am thinking of opening my blog on a better and higher qualified site. I'm working on it every time when I find the opportunity and the time to.
Besides my hobbies, guess what? I'm about to...well, redecorating is too minimalist. I'm am totally changing my room! Starting with the style, keeping an eye on every single detail around. So, I'm pretty busy every afternoon, putting  everything into boxes and suiting them one-by-one.
Of course, we can't forget about the school, which is so entertaining, joyful and pleasant. (I speak fluent sarcasm, btw) We all have that problem, I know, so I won't include this on my "weep list".
Even though I'll get involved in more and more activities from now on, I will try to take my time to write down my new ideas at least once a week on my blog. Promise! And as soon as I achieve my goal (opening my new blog) you'll be the first ones to find out about!

    Until next timeee!x

DIY Room Decor: Nail String Art

DIY Room Decor: Nail String Art

I was really busy this weekend, haha! No, I didn't do my homework. At all. Whoops. My best friend was redecorating her room and she really wanted to create a diy painting/decoration. I mean...who wouldn't love to have such a wonderful work of art hanging on their wall for the next few years? I bet you all would! Check out my video for some tricks before starting: http://youtu.be/8yr88J2IYiM

Thinking that you'll get into the idea of me making DIY posts, I decided to start with this tutorial. There's going to be also a step-by-step video a bit later.
There's no time to waste, let's get started!

It' easy! All you need is:
  • a piece of wooden board
  • a couple of strings (you're choosing the style, so let your imagination spread and find the right colours for your creation)
  • nails
  • a hammer
  • white spray
  • a pencil and a ruler

Step 1: Draw

As your ideas invade your mind, let your hand go with the flow. Be inventive! Try something new, do whatever you want to! It's your idea, your style, your signature! My girl, well, she wanted something to remind her of dreaming. She always kept telling me that this work of art will remind her of the quote "If you can dream it, you can do it." So this is what we chose, the word dreaming. But you can choose any other word or shape.
Start by having a model of the shape you want to draw in front of your eyes. It's not necessarily, but I'm not good at drawing, so I really had to look at a model while trying to show off my draw skills.
Slowly, start to draw the margins of the word, don't hurry. You've got time!

This is Jazz! She was or little help, our secret ingredient for
making things easier

2. Start Outlining Your Word

It's your turn to see what it feels like to work like a carpenter, hahaha! Simply start by inserting the nails in the board with your hammer. They should push in fairly easily with a little pressure (except when you hit a knot in the wooden board...Try to avoid them as much as you can, I'm telling you this from my own experience! If a nail in pushed into a knot, it won't remain inside for too long. When the situation will begin to turn pink (4. Step), your nails will fall and you'll get soooo damn angry, that you won't be able to continue. This is your warning, guys! Avoid the dark knots in the wood!)

3. Paint your Board

Start spreading your spray all over the board from about 25 cm distance.

4. String your Canvas

 Now the fun part: stringing.
Start doing roundabouts around the nails again and again. Reminder: be patient and don't rush!
P.S. We had a pretty thin strings and we had to do too many roundabouts around the nails, so we decided to make our work two times easier, in which we doubled the strings (we put two strings next to each other and started doing roundabouts with both, acting like we have a single string). This will help you, if your strings are also thin.

You can start with doing a knot on a nail, so that you'll
make sure that you strings will remain intact

AAAAAAND THIS IS THE RESULT
What do you think about it? The time I wasted on this work of art wasn't wasted, right?

Don't hesitate doing this at home, it isn't dangerous, even if you're working with a hammer and nails, it's cheap and you'll be very satisfied of what you did all by yourself.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I guess we'll keep in touch on Instagram
Don't miss Take care!xx

Pointless Post: 20 things to do when you're bored

Lately I was thinking about writing a pointless post. Not to present anything or to share with you another boring experience of mine, not to give out another trip post or to write another recommendation. No. Just to write a post out of boredom. To help you laugh through the next lines you'll read or to give you a dumb idea of what you should do when you're bored. CAUTION! The level of dumbness of what's coming next is over 9000. But if you don't think much while reading and if you're in a good mood, you'll laugh, just as I did while writing it.
I bet that every single on of you, beautiful people, get bored sometimes, no matter how busy you are and no matter how many problems you have on your clever mind. At one moment you'll finish your problems and you'll finally "have the time" to get bored, sitting alone in your room. But is that what you really want to? To come along to that point when you have no idea what to do? I don't think so, guys... So here're the things I was thinking about sharing with you:

1.Have a staring contest in the mirror
I think every one of us has lost time staring in the mirror, so why not do a staring contest with yourself? Thinking that you are battling yourself and trying to win will be funny. I'm telling you this because I've tried it a couple of times before.

2.Buy an ice-cream, ask the cashier if she believes in unicorns, if she says yes, buy another one. If she says no, squish that cone on your forehead!
I know this might sound insane, but two of my best friends really did this at McDonald's and I filmed them. And the cashier was like "really?" and started laughing. After that she offered us two more ice-creams. So don't come up with excuses like "nobody has the courage to do that, not even you!" *bitchy voice*, okay? Just give it a try, you'll laugh a lot!
This was our attempt

3.Blink wildly and close you eyes really tight for an interesting light show
I started doing this since I was a little kid. Even if your eyes will hurt a bit after that, it's worth it. 'Cause the light show is so spectacular and it makes you feel dizzy for a couple of seconds, depending on how much you hold your eyes closed.

4.Try not to think about penguins! I said NOT to think
I had to write this one, because I've fallen in this kind of traps for too many times. It was your turn now.

5.Go to a crowded place and play dead
It could be a supermarket, a plaza, a mall, whatever you want it to be. But make it legendary!

6.Take a stuffed animal to the vet
This would be a good idea if we wouldn't live in cities in which vets would be mean and will invite you to get out of their office as soon as they see your cuddle buddy. Still, you could try it!

7.Go to the cinema to an action movie and whenever there is a gunshot, scream "EVERYONE HIT THE FLOOR" and hide under your seat
Nothing more to add to this idea, go for it! Don't be shy, hahaha!

8.Search your name on google
It's amazing how many people have the same name as you, isn't it? Try to find yourself on google, not those people you had no idea about. Be amazed by how many photos you'll find of yourself.

9.Phone your Grandma/Grandpa/other family members
Think about how happy you'll make them feel if you'll give them a 3-minute-call just to ask them how they are. If you can't imagine how happy they'll get, put yourself in their shoes. Do you feel it? That's how happiness feels like at their age. We are the reasons why they make it through every day.

10.Go up to every person you see and tell them you're watching them
They'll think you're crazy, but isn't it what you really wish for? To be different? To be better than others?

11.See how much water you can drink until you have to go to the toilet
This is one of the dumbest ideas on the list, who even does that?

12.Go to the computer duh
Once you'll open your computer or phone, you'll find something to do.

13.Come up with yo mama jokes
This will never get old. And think about the moment when you'll say it out loud and everybody will laugh. Oh, how good it'll feel.

14.Play thumb wrestle with yourself
.
.
.
Try to
.
.
.
until you realise it's not even possible

15.Have a conversation with your wall
If you never did this before it means...you're a normal teen. But I did, I speak to myself or to the wall pretty often *forever alone gurl*

16.Eat a pudding cut without using your hands
You'll turn into a piggy while trying to eat. And...one more thing. DO. NOT. MAKE. EYE. CONTACT.

17.Try to hold your breath as long as you can
I've done this before and it doesn't feel good. But once you've made a new record (better than your previous one), you'll be satisfied.

18.Flirt with a tree
This is a thing I would do any time, I swear! It's so dumb, but doing it is really fun. You should try it!

19.Build a fort out of blankets
Isn't it a cute idea? Building a fort out of blankets? And after struggling to build it, you can relax in it, watch movies and maybe cuddle. *tumblr picture in my head*

20. Repeat the same word over and over again, until it loses its meaning
I've tried this a lot of times and it never gets boring. You only get tired. Literally. You won't be able to move your mouth or catch your breath after a couple of minutes. To make it more interesting, choose an unusual word.

This was it for today, guys. This was my first pointless post. At this moment I'm trying to start continue my blog on Wordpress.org, that's why I'm really busy at this time. Whatever I'll do next, I'll keep you in touch through my Instagram or through an Update Post on this blog. Have a great evening!xx

How to turn from a night owl to a morning person

So school really did start, didn't it, fellows? I bet you all force yourself to crawl out of the bed every morning at 7 o'clock or even earlier. It's really hard for me too, I swear. On holiday, I was always getting up at noon and the sun was already setting down when I was having lunch or something like that. I'm pretty embarrassed because of my vacation routine, I wish I would have gotten up earlier and have done something the past days that my future self would have thanked me for. But, well...I didn't. So here I am, starting a brand new school year with a single huge wish on the top of my wish-list: to become a morning person.
But don't you think that we can really get through this? Don't you think we could turn that alarm clock off and start the day with a smile? Every day is a brand new start, don't miss the chance to make your life better.
I've been reading a lot of articles about this topic, and I found out a lot of useful and interesting advice. Some of the advice may be useful only on weekends, because on school days we're basically forced to wake up early. Thinking that nobody will ever listen to me around the house, I thought to share them with you, so I'm going to try to write them in a couple of steps.

1. Think about why you'd like to get up earlier

If you wake up earlier, you'll have more quiet time for yourself, so that you can read, think about your daily problems (don't overthink) or exercise. More, you could catch the sun rising in the morning skies, which would probably bring a huge smile on your face. Also, getting up early will get the best of you and the best of others, too. If you get things done early, you'll have more time for yourself in the evening.

2. Go to bed earlier

To rise earlier, you'll need to sleep earlier. Of course, this will be hard if staying up late turned into a habit for you, but consider going to bed in increments. Start with 15 minutes earlier, with the expectation of getting up 15 minutes earlier, too. Then gradually increase the amount of time to half an hour, an hour, two. As much as your pretty heart wants to. If you do this little by little, it will give your body and mind the time to adjust.
For you to get to bed earlier:

  •  assume that you have one hour less to do everything in the evening
  • aim your lights 1 hour before bed, to facilitate the release of melatonin, so that you'll get sleepy.
  • allow yourself to read in bed, you will slowly fall asleep because of the lack of movement.

3. Set your alarm clock

It's important to wake up as a matter of will, but an alarm helps. Always.
So that you can get up early

  •  make your alarm clock loud
  •  leave your alarm clock far away from your bed, so that you won't crawl back into your bed, once you've gotten up.

4. Help wake yourself up

It will be difficult, especially if you want to turn your night owl sleeping patterns to morning person rhythm. But there are some ways to trick your body to become active:

  •  Turn on bright lights or open your windows, so that natural light can invade your room. This will reset your circadian rhythm and will make your body more alert.

Here are some more things that will not reset your circadian rhythm, but will help you get used to the morning routine:

  • make your bed-it will be harder for you to crawl back into it, if you've already put so much effort in making it.
  • force yourself to get out of the room - go to the bathroom, go get a glass of water from the kitchen, do anything to start your activities.
  • splash your face with water - who doesn't feel wide awake when cold water is "thrown at them"?
  • stretch
  • put on upbeat music and dance to it.
  • drink a fresh juice/coffee/tea before eating anything

"You may never hop out of morning with a smile plastered on your face, but you can make it a bit easier"

5. Have a good breakfast

Don't be tempted to skip breakfast. It's your first source of energy and the only one until lunch.
"After sleeping all night, our metabolism and blood sugar are at their lowest; we need a healthy breakfast to reenergise us", says Rebecca Scrichfield, a nutritionist in Washington D.C. She also thinks that our breakfast should be rich in protein.

6. Keep it up

It's important to get up at the same time every day, once you're stablished in your new routine. The body likes to anticipate what's happening, that's how it'll get used to the routine.
And think about the good in rising early:

  • you'll relax more
  • you'll sleep much better at night
  • in the morning, as you get up, you'll be refreshed.

7. Be realistic

It can take time to transition from a night owl to a morning person. Moreover, it may not be possible to switch yourself over entirely to becoming a morning person, because of your genetic basis. Stick with the process, it's not going to be easy, but after a couple of days, your body will get used to the routine.
Have rewards in place for early rising. Yes! You did it! You didn't hit the snooze button! Reward yourself with something that encourages you to keep getting up early each day.
Remind yourself that today is a new day. Forget about what happened yesterday, it's past. Today is a new chance, it's a new beginning, take a deep breath and start again!

So that you'll have a calm and relaxing night sleep, check out this video
I'm trying to keep up with this schedule, but it's really hard for me. But I gave it a try and I don't regret it. You should try it, too!

Before I die

There are a lot of things I would't mind trying during my lifetime. But I was thinking of making a list of the things I should definitely do before I die and why not share it with all of you? Maybe you'll have an interest in one of them too. So here's what I was thinking to do along my next years of life:

1. Skydive
I have always dreamt about being 12000 feet above the ground and the suddenly jump into the middle of nothing. I wonder how does skydiving feel like. Is that the feeling you get when you're flying? Anyway, skydiving is one of my biggest wishes, because of my hunger of adrenaline. As the first opportunity shows up, I swear I won't miss the chance to experience it.

2. Get a tattoo
I started 2 years ago with the piercings(I have my right ear pierced) and a year ago the idea of getting a tattoo popped into my head. Now I can't get it off my mind, so next month my besties and I are going to get our tattoos done.

3. Own an apartment with a view
How beautiful would it be to wake up to an amazing landscape? Wouldn't your mornings be brighter? Wouldn't you always wake up with a smile on your face? Seeing that the world has so many beautiful things to be happy about. Well, I would.

4. Drink beer at Oktoberfest in Munich
I always wanted to attend to an Oktoberfest. Actually, I did attend once, when I was about 7 years old. But I don't remember a thing! Only that the place was really crowded. I also was at Oktoberfest in our country and the atmosphere was chaotic, I wish I could see how the "real" atmosphere is. I hope and I think it will happen really soon, because my big brother studies in Munich. So as soon as we'll visit him, I won't miss the chance to go to the fest.

5. Get passionate about a cause and spend time helping it, not just thinking about it
I spent my whole life thinking about doing things, but always ended up doing nothing. And this was enough for me. I want for once, only for once to get that passionate about something, that I can't get it off my mind and evolve in that field.

6. Go on a road trip with my friends through every state of America
America is one of the few destinations I have been to and would definitely visit it again. So, as my wage will be high enough to go on a through-every-state-of-America road trip, I would do it with my best friends for sure. Because what is fun and experience without friends? Nothing.

7. Sleep under the stars
One day, I want to find a place quiet and far away enough to take a blanket together with my beloved one, set it on the green grass and just lay on our backs, talking about the most random subjects, laughing and arguing in a childish way and as the night comes, cuddling so that we won't get cold and stargazing the diamonds in the sky.

8. Take a ride on the highest roller coaster in the world
I am a huge adrenaline fan, so don't be astonished that this is one of my biggest dreams. Now, I don't know exactly which is the highest roller coaster in the world, but I read that the one that has the longest drop (418 foot drop) is the Kingda Ka in the Six Flags Great Adventure, New Jersey.
I will get there one day!

9. See the Northers Lights
I've seen these "lights", also know as the Aurora Borealis in a lot of movies, photos and science shows, but I never got the chance to see one in real life. So, another wish that I would love it to fulfil is to go to one of the parts in Canada that is covered by this prodigy and stare at it for as long as I can.

10. Get accepted into my dream college and then have a job I love
I don't have any plans for future yet, but I will study abroad for sure. After finishing the college, I would love to have a job that I enjoy doing, surrounded with people who create a positive atmosphere around me.

11. Go up in a hot air balloon
How awesome would it be to ride in the worlds oldest successful human-carrying flight technology, admiring the landscapes that surround you? I'm telling you: you can put the awesomeness into words!

12. Lose more money than you can afford at roulette in Vegas
We've all seen the movies filmed in Vegas, in which the best poker players still lose their money in these games. So when I'm gonna be rich as hell (never gonna happen, tho), I'm going to do the same thing, because I'm young, because it's all about fun, because WHY NOT? ahahahaa! (But then I'll start saving money again, duh)

13. Attend at a really huge concert/festival
As soon as I turn 18, I'll fly to Belgium with my friends, ready to attend to the biggest festival in Europe: Tomorrowland. YAAAAAS! But until then, Sziget Festival is waiting for me next year.

14. Create your own website
Starting with this blog, I wish that one day I will really have my own website, getting money out of it and helping people in a way or another through my blog.

15. Keep a journal
I've tried keeping a journal for tons of times. Never could, though. I wish that one day, I could really keep one, in which I'll write my thoughts at night and one day I'll open it. Maybe I'll laugh, maybe I'll cry, but I'll remember every moment for sure.

16. Help children in Africa
After getting married, I will insist upon the idea of adopting a child in Africa. I wanted to do it since i was 12 and one day I will, it's a promise!

17. Spend a night on the beach
I wanna go on a trip with people that are close to my heart and just sit around a little fire, eating marshmallows, singing and making fun of everything. After that, taking a bath at midnight is a thing I won't miss doing in my life.

18. Go into an airport and buy tickets for a random flight
I'll definitely fly to an unknown destination together with my love of my life. Let the adventure begin!

19. Take my mom on the vacation of her dreams
Mom always gave me everything I needed since I was a baby. I still remember the gestures she made for me and I think I'm going to start crying. I know she's my mom and it's normal to do everything she can for me, but I still appreciate her a lot. So one day, I'll make her happy and proud of me.

20. Throw a huge party with fake alcohol
I've always wanted to throw a party with fake alcohol and see how many people act wasted. So if you'll attend to my party and you'll already know this detail, ssssh! Don't spread it! haha!

Well, this was it for today :) I hope you enjoyed my 20-things-to-do-before-I-die list and if you'd like to share one of the things you really want to do during your lifetime with us, just leave a comment below, maybe I'll add it to my list, too! Until next time!x

Do it with passion or not at all!

I was 4 years old when my parents decided I needed to take up a sport. Like...really, I didn't move at all and maybe that's the reason I was SO DAMN CHUBBY, hahaha! All I was doing was sitting around the house and eating. Pretty sad, I know.
So, my mom signed me up to take some ballet classes. I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the music around the gym and especially with my beautiful ballet teacher. After one year of daily classes, I was beginning to get better and better at it. But I stopped, because I wasn't doing it with passion, so why waste my time?
After a couple of months of break, I started to take rhythmic gymnastics classes. It was something new, but I found myself enjoying it. I started at the bottom and after 2 years of practicing, I began to learn the whole "circus" stuff, using the ball, the hoop, the clubs and the ribbon. Everything was magical. The club was organising every month a contest and I actually did won some of them.(I was so damn proud!)
At the age of 8 I had to stop gymnastics or to pass to a whole other level, a higher one, of course, from where I could become olympic. My parents had to take a tough decision, but in the end they said that they decided this isn't for me. So I stopped, although it was hard and it hurt, I understood that and I tought "maybe one day I'll find something else, something that will fit me better, something that I won't let go." And i did.
At 9 years old, mom decided AGAIN than I need to do a sport (because I liked sweets waaay tooo much). And just like that, I started taking up dance classes. I didn't enjoy the first days there, because the girls were skinny and pretty and, well...I was not. But as time passed by, I realised that dancing is like dreaming with your feet. So I wanted to get better at it and in the following months I was placed more often in the first row in the choreographies (which was a thing to be proud about, trust me!).

We started in a large group of people(as you can see above) and took part to lots of shows.

I'm in the back, hahahaha! This was the first show I ever attended to :)

Our first charity show

First time attending to an international contest and winning our first trophy

Our first show at the Iulius Mall

Rehearsals before the show at "Casa de cultura a studentilor

As you can see, we did have lots of fun, lots of shows and contest. Every time I stepped on the scene I was feeling very nervous, but after a couple of seconds my whole body was wrapped in a kind of energy that cannot be explained. And that's how I fell in love with dancing. I fell in love with the feeling you have on the stage and then simply with the feeling you get when you dance on your own. It's that kind of feeling that you are so little, but you have the power to own the dance floor.

As the months passed by, our tutor opened T-Dance, a dance centre which offered us better conditions and gave us huge opportunities to develop ourself in this direction.
Since then, we attended to plenty of big contests like Romanii Au Talent, Nymphea, ESDU and (kind of attended) at Dansez pentru tine. More, we created our own shows, one of them called Circus, where people could come and watch our performances.
Random show at Sala Sporturilor "Horia Demian"

    CIRCUS

Every year, T-Dance organized a final show, where every dance group in the centre showed the audience what they have been preparing the whole year. And because the show was circus-themed, we decided to present the part that not everybody sees in the word "circus", the part behind the curtains, where all the animals suffer and want to break free and put it into a dance. That's what we tried to express: the pain behind the word "circus".

Owning the screen

Passion

 DANSEZ PENTRU TINE

Our beautiful choreographer left in 2012 for 4 months to the contest named Dansez pentru tine (Dancing for you), so when she was the "duel" all the participants received a surprise. I her case, we were the surprise. We sneaked for about 2 days and as she started dancing live, we were right there beside her, dancing the same dance :) it was a wonderful experience!

ROMÂNII AU TALENT

It all started on a Tuesday evening, after our training, when the choreographer asked us if we wanted to participate to this contest called "Românii au talent" and we started screaming and freaking out, because we always wanted to do that. But she reminded us that we had to work really hard to get there. And we did.

We met all the attendees and it was really nice to talk to all of them and to find out their stories.
The judges gave us 3xYES, but they didn't call us to come to the semifinals, which left a bad taste on our tongue.
But I must say that we realized the whole effort was worth it only on the stage, when one of the judges stood up just to clap for us and the other two said that we should be an example for the kids nowadays. Now that was worth it!

ESDU

I bet most of you didn't hear about the so called ESDU Dance Contest. It's a contest where people all around the world show what they can do in the field of dancing. First in their country and then, if you're lucky, in the finals in Croatia.
We won the second price with the whole group and first price with the trio at Bucharest, so Croatia was waiting for us. We worked really hard for the finals and we were hoping for great results.
So on a cloudy day in May, we started our "adventure" to Croatia. I'm gonna say a few words about it: The trip lasted almost 30 hours (it must have lasted 15 hours MAXIMUM). Wanna know what we did the other 15 hours? Well, slept in a gas station for 7 hours, visited a car dealership and had a "shopping spree" at the so-called-mall. Everything because our bus was old and got broken. *YAAY*

But after getting there, everything was worth it. There was this huge resort full of people that shared the same passion with me and that was all I needed to fall in love with that place. I was at the seaside, with people I loved, making my dream come true. I didn't need anything else.

We won the 6th place as a group and the 2nd place as a trio. Thinking that there people all around the world ( South Africa, Ukraina, etc), I must say that I am proud for our results.

More, I attended to a party which was just-like-in-movies, I swear! It was an open-air-disco, where all the people were friendly and danced like nobody was watching.

    NYMPHEA

Nymphea is one of the biggest hip-hop and breakdance contests in Romania in which we took part.

We prepared a different type of dance as the other groups and maybe that's the reason why we impressed the judges. We didn't expect to win the second prize, because we usually don't dance these styles. But you can see the happiness on our faces in the picture below. It's the moment when we found out that we won.

So this was the post about my biggest passion, which I'm trying not to let go. I'm going through a tough time now in this domain, but I'm keeping my head up and I don't stop dancing.
If you have a passion in any field, don't ever let it go! That's my advice for you :)

Until next time! xx
